Slow mornings, coffee, and a passion you forgot you had
Back into my Planner Decorating Era. Finding my joy
Slowly sipping into a creating flow with stickers I have had in my attic for years. What once felt like therapy for me now just feels calming, grounding, and creative again.
Lately, I’ve found myself coming back to it again. Not from stress — just because it feels grounding, peaceful, and honestly so comforting.
Years ago, I used to spend hours doing this. Honestly, it felt like therapy- the quiet you need where the mind can finally slow down. And lately, I’ve found myself returning to it again. Not because I need fixing, but because it’s familiar. Comforting.
My planning routine starts on Sundays when I sit down with my planner in the afternoon and map out the week ahead. All the structure, the goals, the appointments, the Hero tasks… that more masculine, organised energy comes through.
And as the week unfolds, the deep Yin energy starts setting in.
As Friday sun rises, the softer energy starts flowing in. The creative side. The feminine side. And that’s when I pull out all my beautiful stickers from the incredibly talented Etsy creators that I absolutely adore and going over the week’s spread and adding color, texture, doodles. Tiny details. Making your everyday life feel a little more intentional.
And of course… sometimes plans don’t go perfectly. And its ok to scratch something out. After all, flexibility is what Flow is all about.
btw, hope all you mothers had a lovely time with your little ones. Arent they the best thing you created? I have a 20 year old son but no matter how much he grows, some things in life never grows old. He will remain my little boy, forever.
